Protein-Packed Banana Cacao Bars



I mean... who doesn't like a smooth, chocolate-y, sweet and savory bar that could be enjoyed as a treat (paired with coffee or a chai tea of course), post-workout refuel or a scrumptious bite to go with your morning breakfast shake?


These tasty bites of goodness are loaded with plant-based protein, fiber, healthy fats and absolutely scrumptious flavor! With the ripened bananas and slight sweetness from the plant-based chocolate shake, I decided to skip any added sweeteners, relying on the naturally occurring sugar from the fruit... it sure worked out if I do say so myself!


Each bar contains about 10g of quality protein, so if you're trying to up your daily intake, these will be your new besties!

Protein-Packed Banana Cacao Bars



Preheat oven to 375.


1. Mash bananas in large bowl. Mix in eggs and then the following ingredients, until combined.

2. Pour into greased 8x8 pan and bake 15-20 minutes or until finished.


Makes 8 squares
